Jan. 19th, 2009 10:46 pmGetting up early tomorrow to watch the inauguration. Right now I'm actually sorta glad that I'm three hours behind DC, because even if it does mean I have to get up two hours earlier than I normally would, I have class at noon, so I would have had to miss it and watch it online later, which is not quite the experience I want. But the campus has set up a bunch of areas where we can watch it live, so that's awesome.
And classes start tomorrow! I'm really excited--and hah, it's so nice to actually feel excited about the beginning of classes rather than just being resigned to more school. I just hope my Politics and Government classes are as awesome as I'm hoping they will be, because this is probably the best semester to be taking those particular classes, what with the new president.
It's...so funny to be in a "yay, school" frame of mind. Nice, but still funny. XD
