(no subject)

I gave my two weeks' notice today. Last day of work is Sunday, August 20th. Yay! (I rather like my job, but I'm not going to be sorry to quit it and go back to school.) And considering I'm leaving tomorrow for a week in Santa Cruz, I really only have a week left of work.

*pokes gmail* Work already, would you? imadra_blue, did you get the fic? It's not showing up in my Sent folder, so dunno if you got it or the internet ate it.

I finally have an idea I like for my femgenficathon fic! Hurrah! Will totally write it next week on vacation, and will get it in on time!

Also, yesterday I voted, for the very first time! Nevada Democratic primaries, and Jack Carter, ex-President Jimmy Carter's son, is running for the Senate position currently held by John Ensign. I hope he wins, as then both our Senators will be Democrats (we Nevada Democrats are very proud of the Senate Minority Leader being from our state), and that'll be sorta funny for such a red state. Though he really does have a chance to win, if only 'cause he's Jimmy Carter's son. :p

Okay, time to shut up and go watch House.
