Dec. 7th, 2005 11:00 pmI turned in my very last Comp Sci assignment today, and it was ON TIME. This was the ninth assignment, and the first one I turned in on time since the second. I WIN!
And today was the last day of actual classes before finals. As of next Friday at two pm, I'm done with school for a month. I love college. :)
Anyway, here's a meme-ish thing, seen from various people, and most lately
musesfool.
My journal is called Life is a Cabaret because it's part of the lyrics in a song in one of my favorite musicals, Cabaret. It fits both because I am a generally optimistic and life-loving person (to me, "life is a cabaret" = "life is fun"), and because I am a dancer.
My subtitle is currently I'm just dancing in it both because I'm a dancer and because I'm living life. :)
My friends page is called They like me, Ma, they really like me! though I'm not entirely sure why anymore, since it's more to do with who I like/read than anything else...but it's the only one of these title things that I've never changed throughout the 2+ years I've had this LJ, so I leave it how it is.
My username is rynne, because it's a strangely-spelled part of my real first name (Corinne), and I thought it was cool. I still do, since I use it as a username practically everywhere in fandom now. :p
My name is currently real life dropout and online overachiever, which it has been for at least a year and a half now, because I'm an internet addict, sometimes at the point of sacrifing things in RL. Very bad of me, really, but that's how it is right now. I can't imagine changing my name anytime soon, since this one still fits me very well.
My default userpic is the background hum because I got it off an icon generator meme not long after I got this journal and loved it because it talked about both sex and rock. This has been my default userpic for almost as long as I've had this journal, and I can't imagine changing it either.
Also, I posted the prologue of a new fic last night. Please read it. Please? It's the beginning of a fic that I'm very proud of and like very much, and I'd totally love it if more people told me what they thought.
