Aug. 25th, 2005 11:43 amSo, I am here! And classes haven't started yet but they will soon and I can't wait. I love my schedule. My first class is at 1:00pm, except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when it's even later. After that blasted 6:55am class last year, this is heaven.
Anyway, the classes I'm taking are: Intermediate Japanese, Dionysus: Culture and Crisis (my advising seminar), Intro to Computer Science, and Intro to Psychology. I'd wanted to take Intro to Writing Fiction, but it was full when I registered (not a surprise), so I'm taking Psyc instead.
Tacoma and Puget Sound are gorgeous, my roommates and floormates (we're the Humanities Floor) are awesome, Orientation's been fun, and I've got the coolest classes.
Of course, there is the problem of my computer--if it has an Ethernet port, I can't get to it, and we can't get wireless in our dorm until two or three weeks into classes, so I can't get onto the internet except in the various computer labs on campus--I'm in the library right now. And besides, I couldn't quite get on the internet even before I left, so I need to get the tech people to check out my computer and make sure I don't have any viruses or anything.
All of that means that I haven't checked my friends page in a week, so if there's anything important you think I should see, please link to it here.
But other than that, I love college. :D
