First of all, National Honor Society? CULT. Tonight was the induction ceremony for the juniors, and our principal had the seniors come back so he could honor us more, and we lit candles (the wax dripped on my hand) and said a pledge, and...Honor Society is a cult.

I've got the first Yami no Matsuei book. YES. I love Tsuzuki, and the picture of him on the cover. MMMMM.

Second of all, hurrah for people actually participating in my meme-thingy (and for daily_snitch and quickquote for mentioning it without me having emailed them!). During school today, I was dreading coming home and finding out that it was a dud, as I do rather like the idea. Though you know, it was pretty damn hard to think up something good about my least favorite ship, but I think it might have actually done me good. Maybe I'll be able to write that Remus/Snape fic I promised I would if Bush won the election (which I'm still bitter over, dammit).

Note to self: stop playing FFIX so often that you can quote at least half the dialogue along with the characters.

ETA: Something I just remembered--when driving home from the ceremony, I saw a lisence plate that said AENEAS. Made me squee in geeky literary glee. :D

Meh, it's only a cult for the duration of the ceremony. If your school's anything like mine, after you get inducted you don't actually DO anything. Except put the name on your college apps. Which helps.

Well, yeah. Last year we did the cult thing, then this year we had to pay $25 in dues and do two hours of volunteer service, and then go to the ceremony for the juniors. But even if it's only for the ceremony, it is awfully cult-like...

Hee, I used to joke about their cult-like behavior to my friend. I asked him when they went and sacrificed the cow.

I was never a part of National Honor Society because I tended not to do my homework. I am a part of STD (woo!) - the national English Honor society at my uni.

I don't do my homework at least half the time; it's boring and I've got better things to do like read porn. It's just that I'm a good test taker, I think.

I'm a very good test taker as well, which is why I did well in HS, as New York had standardized testing before it was the 'in' thing. And those tests are mad-easy if you have great reading comphrension, which I do.

Yeah, the meme thing; lots of my f-list were doing it, but as I can't not be sarcastic at the best of times I didn't think it was a good idea. Especially as the only good thing about Snarry is the fact that Snape doesn't acually want Harry dead...

More geeky is making up chemical compounds using letters in registration plates.

And if I can write Peter/Snape smut then a little Snupin can't kill you (though I'm sure Bush is trying really hard).

Ahaha. I wasn't the biggest fan of chemistry, so I've never done that...but I think my favorite lisence plate will remain the GRYFNDOR (or something like that) one I saw once. ;)

DUDE, my NHS was just like that. But, the rest of the year was a joke. They never gave us anything to do, and then they complained that we didn't do anything. *rolls eyes*

But, I got to wear that pretty gold tassle at graduation, so that's at least something.

I was going to do the whole non-ship hate thing, but then I realized that I don't hate any ships. If it's smutty, and makes sense, I'll read it. So... sorry. ^__^

Ahaha. Well, at least no one's complained that we haven't done anything yet. :p Our tassle is blue and gold, and during most of the ceremony, I was playing with it and making the people next to me look at me weird. ;)

How can you NOT play with the tassle? Everyone in my class was playing with their tassles! I swear, that's what they're there for.

D'awww. ^_^ Well, let's put it this way... it's not like there are plenty of ships that make me go, "Eh. *shrug*," but there aren't any that will cause me to get into a fullblown debate (Unless I'm sticking up for them). If it's written well enough, I say why the hell not! :D

I can't say the same, but I try to be neutral on ships I have no 'yay' feelings for. Bashing ships for the hell of it just isn't worth it in the long run.

I'm not saying I LOVE all ships, but I at least don't hate any. At least, not that I know of. Except maybe for Dumbledore/anyone, but considering that you don't see much of that out there... I don't think there would really be anyone willing to fight to the death to defend such a pairing. Sooo, no ship debates over Dumbledore/anyone, and we can all live happily!

...Let's hope, at least. 0_o
