I finally got my copy of OotP back from the ex-boyfriend, who borrowed it back in June. *is pleased*

So my new friend lykaios is asking us to create our own personal investment in the outcome of this election.

I said that if Kerry wins, I will write more often than I do now.

And I said that if Bush wins, I will write...Remus/Snape.

OMG VOTE FOR KERRY PLEASE SAVE ME FROM HAVING TO WRITE REMUS/SNAPE.

In other news, upon entering my Government class this morning, all of us were given plastic red, white, or blue leis, because, apparently, we were having state conventions. After the Democrats turned our desks into a wide circle, one of the boys started dismantling his blue one, and, when he had a big long strip of blue plastic, passed it around the circle so that everyone was holding a bit of it. It became the Democratic Circle of Unity.

The Republicans...had big gaps in their circle.

While trying to figure out a party platform, the Democrats proposed that the US take the American bald eagle from pride of place as national bird and install the pterodactyl there instead. And that we immediately establish an underwater city in the Atlantic Ocean and call it Atlantis.

The Republicans, on the other hand, voted to deport my precinct to Canada because the most rabidly Democratic and aggressively argumentative person in the class (probably senior class as well, possibly school) is in my precinct. I am not sure whether to mind or not.

...Is there any doubt which is the better party? *g*

Aaaaaand I have updated this gigantic thing with seven more stories since my last announced update, so there is now a total of 207 fic links, plus the other stuff.

Does someone have an alternate link for "Thing" by Cimorene and Wax Jism? I DON'T WANT TO HAVE LOST THIS FIC.

Plus, I've finally got around to fixing the links to the first wave of celticmoonstar. Remember, if you find a broken link, TELL ME.

Also, the Democrats in your government class? Rock. So much. I can't decide whether I like the pterodactyl or Atlantis more. ^^

I like the pterodactyl more, but that might be because it just came from nowhere. I mean, this guy was reading the list of proposed things to put on our platform, and randomly "That the US get rid of the American bald eagle as national bird and make it the PTERODACTYL" and every single Democrat in the class started laughing.
