Socks

Sooooo, in Government we have this timeline that we write Important Stuff on when it happens, like when Bush and Cheney and Edwards and Michael Moore came to Reno (and Kerry's coming tomorrow and I have tickets YEAH) and various other things like that.

Anyway, a bunch of people were clamoring for the Red Sox's win to be put on the timeline, and so this one guy went up there and wrote on the timeline:

"Red Socks win..."

XD

Every Red Sox fan in the room yelled at him that he spelled it wrong, so he changed it:

"Red Socks (x) win..."

*shakes head sadly*

Honestly. I don't even like baseball and I know how to spell Red Sox.

Also, I finished 1984. SCARY BOOK. *starts reading Catch-22 again*

Also, I am teh sick. Spent much of yesterday taking a nap, so apologies thistlerose for not betaing your fic yet. Am not feeling much better today, but I think I can get stuff done without falling asleep in the middle.

If I didn't dislike most Remus/not!Sirius pairings, I'd ask someone to write a Peter/Remus fic called "Peter and the Wolf". Though...I suppose it wouldn't have to be shippy...
