Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! :)

And now I can finally mention my [livejournal.com profile] shackinup_sesa fic!

I wrote Fall So Softly, for [livejournal.com profile] kaydeefalls. Though if anyone who knows my writing style read it, they probably could have figured it out. :p

I also updated my site with that fic, the Princess Bride fic, and the Luke&Leia fic. I also added dates (well, month and year at least) beneath all the fics, so that people know when it was written and maybe be a bit more lenient on my older fics. *g*

Speaking of the site, I want to set up some sort of feedback thingy. I know how to do a text form in html, but that's not what I want to do, since you can't use web-based email with one. I could just link to the reply feature on LJ in the fics, but not all of the fics I put up on there I've got posted on LJ. I don't want to do a mailto link, as I'm sure that will give me more spam than anything else. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

I've finally updated my tags with all the fic/drabbles I've posted on LJ. So if anyone cares to go searching through that, the tags are updated. :)

Also, tomorrow I'm going with my family to our house in Santa Cruz. I'll be there until Thursday, and while I will have internet access, it'll be dial-up, so while I will be around, it won't be as much as usual.

I don't normally go in for new years' resolutions, since I tend to forget them. But there is one I want to make and that I hope people will pester me to keep:

I resolve that I will write something original this year. It doesn't matter if it's a one-page story or a novel, but I will write something original.

Good night, and happy New Year! :D Here's hoping it will be better than 2005.

If you just make an HTML form and set the action to "mailto:you@youremail.com", it should just email you the information. I think. It's been a long time since I did one of those :) LOL!

Happy New Year! And here's a toast to originality.

You could create a simple form that just mails you the comment, but for that to work I believe that the reader has to have an e-mail account integrated into their browser... (which you mentioned).

You could create a seperate Lj and not post the entire story, just create a post for each story and say "Leave Feedback for ______ Here".

Other than that, set up a feebdack message board?

I don't know much about scripts and forms and stuff, but if you do find someone who knows how to set one up, let me know, because I know that my server can handle them, I just don't know how to set them up.

Also, fabulous resolution, I think I'll gack it ;D

Well, I know that it would email me the information. But the people using the form couldn't use web-based email to send anything, and if they're like me, they'd just not use the form at all. :p

Happy new year to you too! Hopefully it's a resolution I manage to keep. *g*

I might do the separate LJ thing. I'll have to think about it. But if I do manage to figure out scripts and forms and stuff, I'll definitely let you know. :)
